Jumbo and Liv have had a fantastic first day. They experienced the biggest mixture of terrain imaginable and used 'tulips' to navigate their way around the 150 kilometre course. Liv thinks the Land Rover will need new shock absorbers by the end! |

After 600 miles in the Defender 110, Jumbo & Liv finally made it to Chambon sur Lignon. Thanks to the sat nav, instead of reaching their hotel they found a pile of sand. Close! But not quite! The scrutineering checks begin today. |

Arrival in France 06 Nov 07 - 8:00
Jumbo & Liv arrive in France after an excellent crossing on the ferry from Portsmouth. Today they head to Rennes and then St Etienne which means a lot of driving, but apparently there's great weather. Jumbo is getting used to driving on the wrong side. |
