About Wood Park Off-Road

Proprietor & resident instructor, Richard "Jumbo" James is a life long 4 Wheel Drive enthusiast. The 4x4 course at Wood Park has been totally designed by Jumbo who has used his expertise as a farmer, landowner, countryside manager and Off Road Instructor to create this custom-made training area.

Driving Organisations

Our course in west Wales is approved and registered with LANTRA the land-based training organisation. Your visit to this site in Pembrokeshire, one of Wales' most beautiful counties, will comprise all the technical elements necessary for safe and efficient training

45 acres of custom made off road 4x4 courses boasting varied terrain and challenging gradients are blended into the woodland at Wood Park, harmonising with the natural environment. We believe that the off road skills you will learn or improve, will demonstrate a responsible use of this natural environment.

Off Road 4x4 Site Use

Our site is suitable for use with wide range of vehicles from showroom (polished and spotless) to Competitive Safari (dedicated off-road racers).

Wood Park Off-Road is used for one of the legs of the Wales Safari Championship which is held by West Wales 4x4 Group, Mid Wales Off-Road Club and Glamorgan Off-Road.
